What is The Cowichan Musical Society?

• Established in 1981, CMS is a not-for-profit organization operated by volunteers 

• We stage musical theatre productions every year at the Cowichan Centre for the Performing Arts in Duncan, BC, and sometimes in other venues such as the Port Theatre in Naniamo, BC

• We showcase talented local singers and dancers and provide opportunities for everyone, young and older, to participate on and off stage

• Each year, we provide scholarships and other opportunities to support local community arts

• Our productions are of the highest quality, providing an experience of professional theatre to all who participate

• We strive to keep our prices affordable to encourage everyone in the community to come out and enjoy the show
